Background
A Graduate of University of Otago and a New Zealand Registered Dietitian, Prem Hoko has had around 20 years of experience in the area of Public Health, Health Promotion, Community Development, Dietetics/Nutrition and Research in New Zealand and in the Pacific.
She has worked in various role in her career, from project consultant, to clinical dietitian, social marketing manager, guest lecturer, mentor etc. She is on Channel North, (TV station in Whangarei), a competent speaker/health educator and passionate about healthy living.

Prem Hoko and her husband Richard Hoko are Directors of El-Ora Limited, a business based on Christian social philanthropy principles. Prem and Richard are passionate about empowering families and individuals to live to their full potential.
Their current business venture includes opening of Elora Meats, a butchery with a difference at 16 Reyburn Street in Whangarei, combines health, nutrition and affordability in the area of meat supply.
